Ghum Festival 2021- the biggest tour fest of North East India is being hosted by Darjeeling Himalayan Railways (DHR) to commemorate the anniversary of its ‘Heritage’ recognition by UNESCO. The gala event is being hosted simultaneouslyin three places- Ghum Station, Darjeeling Station and Chaurasta and the event, which will be functioning on every Saturday & Sunday (13th,14th, 20th,21st, 27th, 28th November and 4th, 5th of December). A new train has been unleashed between Darjeeling & Kurseong and then back to Darjeeling. Christened as ‘Him Kanya’ , the train will depart from Darjeeling on every Saturday & Sunday at 8.30 A.M and reach Kurseong at 11A.M, departing again for Darjeeling at 13.15P.M; fare will be Rs1200 (peak), Rs1000 (lean). You can choose this joy ride exclusively at Ghum Festival 2021.
